The effects are water are truly alien. The rules we know in life work differently once submerged. The weight of all movement is different, the way light bends is different, even the way we decompose is different. As an abstract expressionistic painter, I look to the properties of such things to achieve imagery that acts as a gate way to the concealed human mind. My paintings strive to be a new type of landscape with new rules that reject all that we know.
